Satish Chandra Dwivedi is an Indian politician and member of 17th Legislative Assembly of Siddharthnagar district, Uttar Pradesh of India. He represents the Itwa constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[1][2][3] Dwivedi was appointed as Minister of State (Independent Charge) in Yogi Adityanath ministry on 21 August 2019.[4][5]
Political career
Dwivedi has been a member of the 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Since 2017, he has represented the Itwa constituency and is a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party.[1] He defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Arshad Khursheed by a margin of 10,208 votes.[6]
