Manchester United play all their home games in Old Trafford this is theit home stadium and is the biggest stadium a club has in england. it is the biggest clubs football ground in britan and the second biggest in britan just after wembley stadium. Old trafford holds up to 75,000 people and is one of the best atmospheres you would ever experience. Old trafford cost a staggering 60,000,000 , thats right 60 million. Manchester united were able to afford this as like i mentioned before they are a very wealthy club and also they have one many trophys so their fan base would be enormous. it would only make sense for the biggest team in england to have the biggest stadium. Old Trafford officially opened on 19 February 1910 with a match between Manchester and Liverpool (3-4). The stadium at that time consisted of one covered seating stand and open terraces on the other three sides. Capacity was slightly over 80,000.

Manchester United is one of the most famous and loved clubs all over the world, no matter where you are inn the world the likelyhood is that there are man u fans there. in recenttears another club in manchester called manchester city has taken over due to the financial takeover they had as a new owner bought the club. both teams have been battling it out for the best team in england, but because of manchester uniteds history and the fact that they have been winning trophies continuousely since the premiere league began, that is the reason man united are and will always be the best team in england.
