Labeled on the concept art as Super Mario World Ride, the Mario Kart attraction will be the theme park land’s signature ride. It’s not another 3D glasses screen simulator, but a practical thrilling dark ride. It will be using the drifting patent that Universal filed a couple of months back. Guests seem to be riding in a Mario Kart race that will go through many different Mario worlds. It’s unclear how enemies like Bowser will appear on the racetrack, I doubt it would be animatronic but instead some new kind of holographic projection or maybe even augmented reality glasses. |

Recent expansion
The article isn't any better for adding the PR-speak and dateline—I see maybe one or two facts added to the article but the rest of the article was better and more concise as it was (and should be restored) czar 17:10, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
Concept art update
Are you aware that there's a concept art of the Nintendo themed attractions? Where it said it will gonna be included attractions based on Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Kirby. But however, will be also gonna be another attractions based other Nintendo IPs, like Pokemon, Animal Crossing, etc., too?

- @Wiki-Ikiw, we cover what has been reported in reliable, secondary sources. Feel free to share such sources once they're available czar 20:37, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
Learn what the sources and words actually mean
Universal Studios does not automatically mean "USF", it means "Parks & Resorts", nor it indicates SNW would take place at USF unless properly sourced. I see nothing that indicates USF specifically because Universal Studios can have three different meanings, one can refer to Universal Pictures, Universal Parks & Resorts, or Universal Studios Florida. But in this case, "Universal Studios" in terms of the development of SNW and pointing out locations like Osaka, Hollywood, and Orlando points out to "Parks & Resorts" division and not USF. Please don't mislead the readers. XXzoonamiXX (talk) 23:16, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- Ignoring your condescending heading, the sources refer to "Universal Studios", the theme park, not some other element of the Orlando resort. Also, the edit warring guidelines say to bring your proposed change to the talk page when it is reverted, and to keep the prior version until there is consensus to change it. czar 06:12, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- The sources refer to "Orlando", not specifically "Universal Studios" as it means Universal Studios Florida. When it says "Universal Studios" team up with Nintendo, it doesn't refer to a theme park, but more of a Parks & Resorts Division responsible in handling its theme parks. Like I said, Universal Studios can be interpreted to many three different ways, not just one. It doesn't refer to anything from Universal Studios Florida as of now, which is why I have to change it to a more specific wording in a general term. XXzoonamiXX (talk) 13:44, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- Universal Orlando is a conglomerate of a theme park, a water park, several hotels, and an entertainment complex. There's no way the reader is better served by linking to that mess instead of the theme park (USF) itself, as is done for Hollywood and Japan. Please revert your proposed edit. czar 16:11, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- No, I want you to cite specifically that "Universal Studios" within the sources that means Universal Studios Florida itself so you could avoid embarrassing yourself. Cite the source that specifically linked to the actual park itself, not changing it to think what you think it means. Otherwise, you're simply misleading the readers when you put "Orlando" as as somehow it's an actual meaning for the Studio Florida itself, when you have nothing to back up with, let alone the fact there's no legitimate source that SNW would come to USF. XXzoonamiXX (talk) 19:14, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- It hasn't even been announced yet... but the heading is "Nintendo’s first Universal Studios park attraction is called Super Nintendo World"[1]. Any source that has speculated on what hasn't been announced has also associated the park with the existing USF theme park rather than a separate park in the resort: the editorial "Where Would Nintendo's Theme Park Attractions Fit in Universal Studios Florida?"[2] (RS) and
There is no discussion of it being a separate theme park from Universal Studios Florida—the only relevant theme park in Universal Orlando. Tone it down. czar 19:46, 9 August 2017 (UTC)It is currently believed – though far from officially confirmed – that Universal Orlando Resort’s Super Nintendo World will be located at Universal Studios Florida, replacing the long-outdated Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone section.
— [3] (less reliable)- The source counts as a speculation, so by all means it does not have any confirmation that Super Nintendo World would be coming towards Universal Studios Florida specifically so unless properly announced, like the recent HHN announcements. But back to the main topic, if you want to refer to Universal Studios Florida, then specifically refer to as such if we're talking about in general terms, so people won't be confused whether you're talking about the one that produce the movies, or the theme parks in Hollywood, in Japan, in Singapore, or even Islands of Adventure or USF. If you put "Hollywood and Orlando parks", then people would easily confuse "Orlando" to Orlando Resort, considering Universal has two parks. XXzoonamiXX (talk) 22:29, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- You asked for sources and I presented them. Meanwhile there is no evidence to the counterpoint. Moreover, there is no reasonable expectation that a reader will click on "Orlando" in the context of the Orlando theme park, see "Universal Studios Florida" (the theme park portion of the resort), and somehow be "confused" with the production studio. Those looking to learn about the Orlando park via its link should find the theme park, not the overarching resort that only addresses the theme park in part. (This should be really straightforward...) The USF article's context is very clear, and if you feel it isn't, it's your prerogative to take up with that article. But since I've addressed all of your concerns, I see no reason to doubt that it's the right link target. czar 23:04, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- No, I asked you to point out something that specifically links anything regarding Universal Studios Florida itself. People around the world doesn't refer to Universal Studios as "Universal Studios Florida", since it can have different meanings. We're talking about general terms, because what you said is just something locals bring up. Specifically. What you just link are speculations and more important, it does not confirm anything. WP: Reliable sources requires anything that is "unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion." It's clear your article is just speculation and not a confirmation that SNW is coming to USF, nor that "Universal Orlando" should refer to as USF itself. Again, as my blue link says, context matters and since SNW is coming to all three Universal theme parks and does not confirm anything about USF yet, it's more appropriate to bluelink to the actual Universal Orlando Resort in general terms and not USF specifically. You're way off topic. The article has a sourced mention of "Orlando" and the question is whether it should link to Universal Studios Florida (the theme park) or Universal Orlando (the resort complex that contains Universal Studios Florida). I cited reliable sources that show that "Orlando" refers to the theme park and not some separate part of the resort, which is more than you've provided. czar 04:53, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- I'm going to have to side with Czar here. There's no reasonable assumption otherwise. Sergecross73 msg me 13:41, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- Then show me where does it say that. You cite reliable sources, so point it out to me, from the actual source that Orlando automatically means "Universal Studios Florida". I read it again from the source you cited, I see nothing that links Orlando to Florida itself. And just because Orlando somehow means a theme park itself does not automatically link to Universal Studios Florida, considering Orlando also means the Islands of Adventure theme park, since people have been saying "Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure or "Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure". Which is why I have to agree to disagree. XXzoonamiXX (talk) 03:21, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
- I actually have to side with XXzoonamiXX here. The official press release from Nintendo states "Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have also announced that they will also feature Nintendo-themed areas in the future." Anything not directly from Nintendo or Universal (or featuring a confirmation from one of the two) is just pure speculation. There have been rumors about all of the parks in Orlando that have been reported by multiple sources as being "all but confirmed/announced" that never actually pan out. In fact, until I found the Nintendo source, I was going to argue that this whole thing was redundant anyways, because I thought nothing had been officially said about SNW coming to Orlando. Epic Universe
Yes, Universal announced its upcoming Epic Universe complex for Orlando, and yes, the concept art suggests that Super Nintendo World will go here. However, concept art is not deemed reliable. Until Comcast, Universal or Nintendo actually says anything about this (and they have no rush to do so), any mention of EU is speculation and not encyclopedic. --McDoobAU93 18:03, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
Kirby’s Kid’s Playground
The land will have a small wet/dry play area for young children based on the Kirby games. You enter and leave the area through huge green pipes. There is a round kid’s ride scheduled for this land, although there is no indication of what it is exactly — but it looks like it spins in circles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.194.142.39 (talk) 21:48, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
Donkey Kong Island
Taking inspiration from the Donkey Kong Country video game series, this land offers some options for older kids and adults.
Kong Jungle Playground: Donkey Kong Island will feature a bigger kids tree fort play area like Tarzan’s Treehouse at Disneyland or the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Disney California Adventure. The tree fort is themed to the one Donkey Kong lives in at the beginning of the game.
Monkey Mines Madness Coaster: The second attraction is an outdoor coaster using the boom coaster patent that we previously reported on, that will allow the mine cart vehicle to jump over gaps in the ground. It’s worth noting that this is a completely new coaster and not just a retheme of the Woody Nuthouse coaster. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.194.142.39 (talk) 21:52, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
Hyrule: Zelda’s Kingdom
The design also shows Hyrule, from the popular Legend of Zelda video game series, which may or may not be featured in the final construction.
Hyrule Castle Attraction: A small castle area is to contain a show with Princess Zelda and an implementation of the ‘puzzle moving theater’ patent. The concept art doesn’t reveal too much.
Other areas in this land include locations from the games like Great Deku Tree and Kokiri Village, as well as an “interactive area”. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.194.142.39 (talk) 21:54, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
