Previously, Kerabari is a Village Development Committee in Gorkha District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. As per the federal system, Kerabari lies in Siranchok rural municipality ward No. 1. It lies beside the Chepe river. Kerabari is a very beautiful village. It is very rich in natural resources too. Beautiful and diversed forests, some beautiful water falls like Dhodeni Chhigro, Talapota Chhigro , Gurung and Bhrahmin culture are the key features of this village. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2,692 and had 535 houses in the village[1]
