Peebles High School is a state comprehensive school for girls and boys aged 11-18, located in the town of Peebles in Peebleshire. It came into existence as Bonnington Bark Academy in 1858. Since then, it has expanded and now has approximately 1400 pupils, which is near full capacity.
In the year of 2000 a new section was completed increasing its size and capacity.
The school's history department has an excellent record with twice the national average pass rate.
