There's a chance it might be off, but we can probably watch their blogs to see if they make any mention of it. Yaguruma 19:28, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if we should be trustful of a lot of this. Unless there's been another magazine article (and I don't know where it is), I'm thinking we should lay off and see what comes up.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 22:09, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, no we shouldn't—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)

I don't really know what your problem is, but Wikipedia uses reliable sources.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 04:01, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

French Blog

A French tokusatsu-themed blog is not a reliable source. As such, I have removed all of the stuff that has been translated from there (and horribly). A "Flamand-Rose" is a flamingo, and the above text says GekiPink will be crane-based.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 00:50, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thats just the wrong translation. and you should've left it up and as it is. It was correct. You can also get info from magazines, blogs and the Japan super sentai forums.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)

The wrong translation was not the only problem. We don't know where the blog got its information, and there's no other information about it elsewhere. Forums and blogs are not reliable sources. A magazine is, though.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 05:32, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, then, why is it so hard thanm to askl the person who post it where they got it from. I mean its not that hard.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)

Well, you can do that, too. Be bold to get information.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:09, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ok—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)

Martial Arts

I changed it up since Dairanger wasn't a martial arts themed but Chinese Elemental and Mythology/Philisophical series. It more resembles Maskman. 70.185.125.101 03:34, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say it resembles both of them.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 03:57, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, it doesn't.

Dairanger was based on Chinese stuff, as is this series. It resembles both.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 04:59, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That doesn't mean it resembles it. Just look at Dairanger's guide and series. It was based on Daos civilization and an inner war between 2 tribes

That's true, but it has simple similarity. Dairanger has Chinese themes, so does Gekiranger. Maskman is martial arts based, so is Gekiranger.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 05:25, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

....07:24, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Why'd you delete the trivia section.70.185.125.101 07:27, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's unnecessary. We are supposed to avoid trivia sections, and that information was not trivia, but related to the subject directly.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:28, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uh no you don't have to avoid Trivia sections. That's a lie. Where'd you hear that at? And I think it still counts as Trivia.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.185.125.101 (talk)

It's a Wikipedia guideline, Wikipedia:Avoid trivia sections in articles. And production times are related directly to the topic of the television show.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:19, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It still should be included eventually.70.185.125.101 22:18, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, it should never be included. It should be incorporated in another way.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 00:34, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, unless the big leagues say so, I'm going to include when the time comes, as in arrives. For now, let's leave it as it is till it premieres.70.185.125.101 04:30, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Give us a source. Stop disrupting articles this way.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 04:36, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I hardly call that disrupting and when my source gives me the go ahead I will.70.185.125.101 04:39, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

...Just give us a direct link and it will be included. Your "source" cannot be reputable unless it is available to several people.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 04:52, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We'll work on it. I sent them an email asking if I'm able to use the url, and thread link.70.185.125.101 07:32, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GEKIRANGER SURNAMES

WHO THE HELL deleted the names for our heroes?70.185.125.101 05:11, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where were they in the first place?—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 05:31, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Listed here. Ryu, did you delete the other stuff such as the press release information? Also check Rangerboard, they are bad mouthing you, in the OO cast thread and the Jetix OO thread.70.185.125.101 21:31, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, frankly I'm not giving a crap about that right now. I realized why I was wrong, and now I'm just staying a bit away from the general discussion board.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 22:07, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you say so.74.195.3.11 17:53, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New name

Now the name isn't even Gekiranger, テキトージャ Tekitoenger/Tatakaiger? Yaguruma 06:06, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's the name of the mecha, GekiTooja (ゲキトージャ, GekiTōja).—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 06:09, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I also found this as the title: ズバット戦隊テキトージャ could it be that they're integrating the mecha name into the title? Yaguruma 06:13, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Someone typed something up wrong at whatever board it comes from, Hyperdash(?). Zubat Sentai Tekitorger (ズバット戦隊テキトージャ, Zubatto Sentai Tekitōjā) means nothing.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 06:15, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That'd be me actually. Yeah, people on the Japanese boards are making a joke saying that the red ranger looks like the 70's toku hero, Zubat, who's title is an onomatopoeia for a whip cracking. Gekiranger's the title then, considering the mech's do have "Geki" in the title. Sorry for the mix up. Yaguruma 06:22, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

S'okay. It's a pain in the ass getting grilled at RB though for knowing some Japanese (language and people), though.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 06:28, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So now it's not martial arts anymore?

Since it's tiger, cheetah, jaguar, it's more of wild animals eh?

The http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gekiranger entry is different from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juuken_Sentai_Gekiranger —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.83.13.135 (talk) 15:10, 8 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

It's probably martial arts still, but just focused on cats.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 21:07, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not really. According to the buzz, producers and confirmed rumors in Japan as of 12-10, has it that they changed their mind at the last minute.74.195.3.11 17:33, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GekiBlue has tonfa, GekiRed has nunchaku, and they have a mentor who is a "Juuken Master." I would think that martial arts is retained here.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 18:08, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Its nowhere in the scans, so no.

It's martial arts, just not the five animals schools.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:00, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

then why are the Asahi groups and press stating different?74.195.3.11 23:04, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know... If I'm going to give my characters nunchaku and tonfas, I think martial arts are retained somewhat. Could you link?—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:07, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Remember Ohranger had all those weapons as well. Those 3 could be associated with cops, armed forces, nature and scientist.74.195.3.11 00:10, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The official logo for Juuken Sentai Gekiranger is on the first page of the most recently released scans. I think it should be somehow incorporated into the article by now. --GreenNinja 20:30, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll see what I can do with the scan (unless you've got it all cropped and whatnot).—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 20:42, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 21:05, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greeny's back. Whats up dawg? Yeah I have the logo as well.74.195.3.11 22:55, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
