Hira Salman (née Saleem; born 24 June 1989), known as Hira Mani, is a Pakistani television actress, host and former VJ. Hira has established a career in the Urdu television industry. She gained critical acclaim for portraying the role of Gaiti in ARY Digital's Do Bol (2019) and Hania in Mere Paas Tum Ho (2019). Hira is currently playing a leading roles of Zara in Mohabbat Na Kariyo, Zaira in Ghalati.
Personal life
She married her fellow actor Salman Saqib Sheikh (Mani) in 2008 at the age of 19. They frequently work together in most of their projects.[3][1][2] The couple has two sons Muzammil (born in 2009) and Ibrahim (born in 2014).[4]
Career
Started her career as a VJ then move on to hosting, Hira made her acting debut along with her husband Mani in ARY Digital's Meri Teri Kahani (2012). The show was Inspired by American series Curb Your Enthusiasm. Both (Mani and Hira) appeared as fictionalized versions of themselves.[5] She then appeared as Heer in Jab We Wed (2013) and as Hareem in Firaaq (2013). In 2015, she portrayed a role of Shagufta in Hum TV's Preet Na Kariyo Koi opposite Ahsan Khan. She received critical praise for portraying emotionally intense character in the serial.[6] She later appeared as a guest in Mr. Shamim (2016) and Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain 2 (2016).[7][8][9][10][11]
