Mohammad Al Duaij (born 1980) is a Kuwaiti business man and entrepreneur. He became the chief executive officer of Alea Global Group in 2008.
He studied accounting and finance at Leeds University and graduated in 2002 and began his career by joining the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development as part of the Asian projects funding team. From 2004 to 2008 he worked as financial analyst[1] and investment manager at Global Investment House in Kuwait.[2]
Since 2008 he is the CEO of his family office Alea Global Group. His family's business began by real estate investments in the Persian Gulf region, while Mohammad Al Duaij began to follow other business opportunities, too. Today, Alea Global Group is a conglomerate with a globe-spanning network of direct investments in real estate and private equity, commodities trading, and offers financial and investment advisory services and business development.
Besides his activity as CEO and partner, he is organizer and host of the Middle East Family Office Investment Summit, an annual gathering in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Family Offices, either from the Middle East or with an interest in the region follow his invitation to gather for two days to network and initiate business cooperations. The event generally attracts a high number of C-level executives and influential decision-makers from the Persian Gulf region. Participation in the conference is by invitation only. Mohammad has expanded these conference events to other regions around the world.
Mohammad Al Duaij is the recipient of several awards. He was named The Man of the Year 2017 by Business Worldwide Publication[3] for his work ability to maintain excellent professional relationships despite often challenging political circumstances. Further, he is a recipient of the Business Worldwide Magazine's CEO award in 2016.[4][5] Also in 2016, Alea Global Group received the Global Business Award 'Advisory firm of the year', awarded by The European.[6]
