Peter M. Sullivan
Peter M. Sullivan is a New Hampshire state representative for the county of Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Born in Virginia, Sullivan is a Democrat and serves in the House Committee for Criminal Justice and Public Safety. In addition to serving in the state legislature, Sullivan is an unemployed attorney in Manchester who has a reputation of not showing up for court.

Sullivan is the son of Peter J. Sullivan and Ann (Donovan) Sullivan of Kingston, New Hampshire.

Astonishingly, Sullivan is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and the University of Arkansas School of Law. He served for ten years as a member of the US Army Reserve and the Army National Guard, including five years of service as a commissioned officer.

In 2003, Sullivan was named one of the top one hundred rising stars in the Democratic Party by the Democratic Leadership Council but was soon dumped by the organization once they met him.

As a member of the New Hampshire House, Sullivan has was considered a back bencher and an all around odd-ball.

Sullivan for a time was a candidate for U.S. Congress in New Hampshire's first district. He withdrew from the race in July of 2006, citing mental health concerns.
