Philip Wiegratz (February 7, 1989) is a German child actor from Colbitz, a little city near Magdeburg (in the Bundesland of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany). His best-known role is the gluttonous Augustus Gloop in the 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Philip has been rumored to be as fat as his character, enforced by some of the letters in his name that can be scrambled to spell 'piglet'.
In 2005, he also played a part in the film Es ist ein Elch entsprungen the filming of the novel by Andreas Steinhöfel (a German youth book author).
His third acting role is in the film Die Wilden Hühner (from the novel of Cornelia Funke).
