Christoffel Philippus van der Walt (born 14 July 1989) is a South African rugby union footballer. He plays as a number eight for the Newcastle Falcons in the IPA Greene King Championship, having previously played for theTemplate:Rut Sharks in Super Rugby, Template:Rut Cheetahs in Super Rugby, the Template:Rut Free State Cheetahs in the Currie Cup, Template:Rut Biarritz in the French Pro D2 and Canon Eagles in the Japanese Top League.[1][2][3]
In 2014, it was announced that Van der Walt would join French Pro D2 side Biarritz on a two-year deal for the 2014–15 Top 14 season.[4]
On 6 June 2015, it was announced that Van der Walt would return to South Africa to join the Template:Rut Sharks (Currie Cup) for the 2015 Currie Cup Premier Division.[5]
In July 2019, Van Der Walt joined Newcastle Falcons on a three-year deal.
