Muridke (Punjabi, Template:Lang-ur), is a city and headquarters of Muridke Tehsil in Sheikhupura District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 2nd largest city in Sheikhupura Division.[1] It is situated near the city of Lahore, at an elevation of 205 m (675 ft)[2] and is situated on the Grand Trunk Road.
In 2005 Muridke became the headquarters of the newly created Muridke Tehsil of Sheikhupura District.
According to the 2017 Census of Pakistan, its population is 166,652. It is ranked 53rd in the List of most populous cities in Pakistan.
