In 2007 Sharjah-based Enshaa Holdings in a joint venture with NLC launched Karachi International Financial Centre on II Chundrigar road which would comprise a hotel, office towers, serviced flats and a railway station. The Karachi Financial Towers would include two identical 37-storey towers connected by a three-floor glass skybridge. I. I. Chundrigar Road[1][2][3][4][5], formerly McLeod Road, is located in central Karachi, Pakistan. It is named after former Pakistani Prime Minister I. I. Chundrigar. The road serves as the spine of Pakistan's largest financial centre, and so is frequently referred to as "Pakistan's Wall Street".[6][7] In 1963, Habib Bank Plaza was built along the street, which remained the tallest building of Pakistan until 2005,[6] until completion of the MCB Tower, which was also built on the road.
