Curriki - Global Education & Learning Community is an online open source communiyt founded by Sun Microsystemsand spun-out as a non-profit, aimed at providing unified educational content and best educational practices online. It was launced on June 1, 2004.
Quoting from the Mission Statement of Curriki: "The community's mission is to improve global education by empowering teachers, students and parents with self-paced, web based, free and open content (curriculum resources, assessment) combined with best practices for advancing student achievement world wide"
