"Oh Uganda, Land of Beauty" (instrumental, one verse) |
"Oh Uganda, Land of Beauty" is the Ugandan national anthem. It was adopted in October 1962, with words and music by George Wilberforce Kakoma.[1] At just 8 bars of music, it is one of the shortest in the world, and it is usually performed with two verses in order to lengthen it.[2] The Ugandan national anthem has been translated into the twenty-five major languages of Uganda.[3]
