"Happy to Be with You" is a song written by Johnny Cash with June Carter and Merle Kilgore.

Released in October 1965[2] as a single (Columbia 4-43420, with "Pickin' Time" on the opposite side),[3][4][2][5] it entered the country charts in November,[6][7][5] eventually reaching number 9 on the U.S. Billboard country chart[7][6] and number 11 on the Cash Box country chart.[5]

Later the song was included on the album Happiness Is You[8] (October 1966).
