Bawadi is a project announced by the government of the United Arab Emirates and other investors on the 1st of May 2006. Its aim is to double the amount of rooms in the city of Dubai until 2016 to 29,000 rooms. One of the projects of this investment is the hotel resort Asia, Asia which will be the largest hotel in the world with more than 6,500 rooms.
