Deg outfall hydropower project Sheikhupura

Deg outfall hydro power project is located on Unpper chenab canal near Rachna indistrial area sheikhupura. This plant capacity is 4.04MW & it's construction is funded by Asian development bank.Construction of 5.2 Km (Approx.) long and 3.7m wide access road also part of this project which will connect plant location with Lahore-Sheikhupura road

Collapse of structure

In 2017, structure of project collapsed , punjab govenment established an inquiry team to investigate incident.
