Most likely it is still running, like you said, but it probably isn't using airplanes anymore. I did some research, and nothing said that Embrun Airport didn't exist anymore. So it probably does still use gliders and hang-gliders, but no airplanes.

:And what is your source for that? You can't just say things like that here, you must give a source, either a book or a ''reliable'' website (sorry, Freewebs website don't count). Before you put it in an article, give a source. See [[WP:V]] for help on how to cite.

The Airport

There is no airport in Embrun, Ontario anymore. It closed down a few years ago! They no longer use it.

Well according to NAV CANADA's current Canada Flight Supplement (23 November 2006) and Transport Canada (search for CPR2) this airport is in operation. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 13:24, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, they haven't been flying planes in ages. Unless they've opened a new one somewhere else then I don't think there is one. But if you can find out if they've built a new one here, then let me know.

How about gliders and hang-gliders? The CFS says both are active in the area. Also page 77 of this pdf from Transport Canada, dated 26th Oct uses Embrun Airport as an example. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 12:34, 24 November 2006

And what is your source for that? You can't just say things like that here, you must give a source, either a book or a reliable website (sorry, Freewebs website don't count). Before you put it in an article, give a source. See WP:V for help on how to cite.
