Ahlinkar Kyawswar (Template:Lang-my) is an honorary degree awarded to those who have excelled in literature and the arts.From 1949 to 1962, about 20 people were honored in Myanmar.

  • Shwe Pyi Aye, Musician
  • Ba Than, Burmese Musician
  • Ba Gyan who was a pioneering Burmese cartoonist. He created the first cartoon movie released in Burma in 1935. In 1902, he was born at Nyaungdon. He created the cartoon films Kyetaungwa in 1934 and Athuya in 1935, working with cartoonist Hein Son.[4][5]

  • Myoma Nyein ( 25 January 1909 – 15 September 1955) was a renowned Burmese musician and composer who was a founder of Myoma Band.[6][7]He was born on 25 January 1909 in Mandalay, British Burma. His father is U Nyi, a goldsmith, and his mother is Daw Chit Oo, a lacquerware merchant.

  • A1 Tin Maung was a two-time Burmese Academy Award-winning film actor, director and producer. He was born in Pyay, a small town in Lower Burma during the British colonial rule. He began his film career at age 10, in 1923, appearing in Taw Myaing Zon Ga Lwan Aung Phan.[8]
  • Sein Wai Hlyan was a Burmese songwriter and singer. He was born in Shwebo District , Tabuyin, Yinswe Village. His father is U Sein and his mother is Daw Tout.He was the four of six siblings.
  • Thukha (14 January 1910 – 7 December 2005) was a six-time Burmese Academy Award winning film director, writer, song writer, script writer, film actor and film producer. He was born in the Ayeyarwady delta in British Burma and he began writing poems as a middle school student. [10]
  • U Nu is a Myanmar writer and author. Is a director. He was born in 1902, December 28 (Sunday, December 12, 1264) Sunday, 10:00 am 38 minutes, In 40 seconds Thegone Township]] , Pyay District . His father is Moe Aye and his mother is Daw Sein.
  • Chin Sein was a Burmese writer and Film director and Actor. He was born on 1910 August 8 in Mandalay Region , Nyaung U.
