Hi there, I've done a small bit of research and the break up of the County was not to define it as new county in Ireland but was to do with Dublin County Council. The fingal website lists it as an administrative region in Dublin. Yes, it is. The Local Government (Dublin) Act 1993 as passed by the Oireachtas, dissolved County Dublin and created the new counties of Fingal, South Sublin and Dun Laoughire-Rathdown. Spleodrach (talk) 13:06, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
