Hoboken Charter School is a K-12 charter school in Hoboken, New Jersey.

History

On January 15, 1997, Leo Klagholz, the New Jersey State Commissioner of Education, enacted the school's charter.[1]

In 2012 the K-8 building was hit by a fire categorized as three alarm; it would be unavailable until September 2013.[2] The former St. Anne's School in Jersey City Heights was the temporary class location.[3] Additionally Hurricane Sandy in late 2012 had disrupted operations of the school.[4]

In 2013 the Obama administration made positive statements about the school.[4]
