I have had articles denied many times, yet I always look at the user's page, just to be on the safe side. When I find a user whose user page does not even talk about experience or knowledge but purely shows something political (which wiki clearly states is against guidelines ) I become curious. When I thereafter go to the user's talk and I see that many others have unjustifiably had their articles removed it makes me interested. In regard to the consequences I am sure, you know that wiki users may have to be investigated by administrators. Speedy deletion nomination of Bray Ketchum?
Hi,
I'm not sure why you nominated the Bray Ketchum page for speedy deletion? The criteria state "When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time". The original page was deleted because it failed to provide any independent significant coverage, but I had added articles from 5-7 different sources specifically to address that problem.
Cheers

Kishor Patil Page Edit
Hi Praxidicae,
I could see you have reverted the edit done to Kishor Patil, I wanted to understand more as to why was that done.
I have taken care of all the format that needs to be followed as mentioned in Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons and Wikipedia:Notability (people), the sources I had used were from reliable sources.
Request you to let me know if I missed out something and would request your help to publish the page by following all required Wikipedia guidelines.
Re-edit: Hi Praxidicae, please let me know if there is something that I need to change in the edit I have done, If we are good here, then I'll go ahead and undo your edit.

Thank you.
Just a note to thank you for info regarding "Invalid CSRF token" issues. I seem to be able to write and edit again right now, although I have not attempted to make any adjustments to one of several pages I recently established on lost 1911 and 1912 Edison films. That particular Edison film was a fictional romance set during the American Civil War. I thought, given the current situation in the United States—Wikipedia might now be taking extra measures to block malicious attempts to disrupt pages or vandalize any subjects, even silent films, that in their descriptions require the use of terms such as "Confederate" or "Confederacy", keying in on such terminology. Thanks again.
Karen Lorre / Karen Witter
Dear Praxidicae I have been asked by a friend, Karen Lorre, to change the name of the page that refers to her. She has not got by the name Witter for many years and the page only relates to her career many years ago. She would like it to be updated and more correctly reflect who she is now. Would you be able to suggest how I could go about this? Many thanks, Pjisherwood (talk) 20:35, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- That simply isn't how Wikipedia works. She is most commonly known by the name Karen Witter and that generates the most sources and almost all of the sources state this. Please also read WP:COI. Praxidicae (talk) 20:36, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
Thanks, Praxidicae, this is a whole new world and as you pointed out I don't know who it works. I read your suggestion and "This page in a nutshell: Do not edit Wikipedia in your own interests, nor in the interests of your external relationships," makes things clear about what I was trying to do (or shouldn't be trying to do)! So for Karen Lorre to be represented on Wikipedia, does she need to wait until she is famous enough under the name Lorre that someone who doesn't know her personally, decides to create a new page about her? Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks again Pjisherwood (talk) 21:04, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello Praxidiece, Initially, I have not been taking money for creating articles about personalities and I have been a volunteer on Wikipedia for a long time, and I know the true meaning of encyclopedia. Yesterday I published an article about Osama Odat, and the review was accepted and the article was accepted, I never take money, I hope to undo Delete my articles, see resources and search for personality to make sure. Thank you Signature Osps7 (talk) 13:20, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
I hope that you will review all sources and references to be sure. Osps7 (talk) 13:28, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
Praxidicae, Is there any problem with the picture? I look at the articles that contain references and sources, and I also see that the very professional articles have been approved, and I do not take advantage by publishing about these personalities, and I have knowledge of them but this is not a sufficient reason to cross out the articles. The articles on Wikipedia mainly depend on having enough resources and fame, and you can also search for these characters online. Osps7 (talk) 13:35, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
And I uploaded the photo because it was I who photographed it. Below each article is a set of resources and links posted online. You can also search for these articles. Osps7 (talk) 13:42, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
I hope you search for the names of these articles. Osps7 (talk) 13:45, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
I understood that, but I was not asked to write about it, and I am not receiving any money. I am only a volunteer. I place verified sources in each article, which the articles I have nominated for deletion achieve sufficient popularity. Osps7 (talk) 13:51, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
But I am telling you what I see, and I also advise you to look at the sources inside each article and search for these characters. I understand that well, and thank you Osps7 (talk) 13:56, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion?
Hi there,
I contested your suggestion for speedy deletion of the entry on Marc Sebastian’s biography and I really am concerned by such a suggestion. Marc Sebastian is an LGBTQ+ activist, the queer community is already under attack and to see that continue onto Wikipedia is disheartening. Have you looked into the work of his group Voices 4, which has inspired movements internationally? Have you actually looked into the homophobia that Sebastian fought for the fashion industry? These are just trivial things that aren’t noteworthy- just look at the news the queer community is under attack each and everyday and our young people need to be able to access information on those that are like themselves, those that they can look up to. There are so many less valuable entries on Wikipedia of those who are just models or stylists and sure Sebastian is that as well, but more importantly and unlike any others, his activism has helped improve the world. And now even during what we are experiencing with racism, Marc Sebastian is supporting black creators and helping them build their platforms and using his to support them And the black lives matter movement and there are not enough notable people out there taking this sort of stand. As an educator and a parent, I am asking you to consider what you list for speedy deletion more carefully because the queer community is already under attack and if major queer activism (along with quite a noteworthy career) isn’t enough to consider someone “good enough” for Wikipedia, then obviously the community has even a bigger fight than I realized. KPiekarski314 (talk) 13:34, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- It would really do you well to read WP:AGF before accusing editors and the community as a whole of something so egregious. Praxidicae (talk) 13:35, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- KPiekarski314, if your article or any article was nominated for a speedy deletion it’s probably because it meets any of the criteria listed at WP:CSD. Seeing as you are a relatively new editor have you even had a look at what our general notability criteria before coming here to assume absolute bad faith? Celestina007 (talk) 13:47, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
Yes, I have read the guidelines. Honestly a lot of people say to teach kids not to use Wikipedia because it isn’t reliable, but if you follow the guidelines it’s pretty apparent that the articles are good sources and this one is no different. Queer activism is SO important and Wikipedia should not silence that. KPiekarski314 (talk) 14:57, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
And I understand it looks like I don’t know what I’m talking about, this isn’t my first Wikipedia page, but I lost access to an old email address so I had to make a new account. This will just send the complete wrong message, especially during pride month. KPiekarski314 (talk) 14:58, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Sockpuppetting
Hey Prax, TL;DR There's a massive amount of biased manipulation of Apple articles coming from Indian IP addresses, they remove any environmental data, I think it makes sense block articles against this modifications.
Long Version
I started noticing it when I added environmental data to the iPhone 11 Pro starting with the following user
- 2402:3A80:982:1C49:C5EF:EB6D:13DD:B210 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/2402:3A80:982:1C49:C5EF:EB6D:13DD:B210
when he reverted my addition of environmental data to the iPhone 11 Pro despite being quoted well and surving a purpose in this article. After my stuff was reinstated three times and I went on a look and figured that an IP from the same region did much more edits, always carefully removing any negative data:
- 2402:3A80:93F:AE2E:8DD8:D2B3:9C17:2E53 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/2402:3A80:93F:AE2E:8DD8:D2B3:9C17:2E53
- 2402:3A80:93D:8F69:F933:45C9:2FB6:58D7 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/2402:3A80:93D:8F69:F933:45C9:2FB6:58D7
- 2402:3A80:922:CE6B:F43F:A533:7F4D:23F2 (this was the one you reverted) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/2402:3A80:922:CE6B:F43F:A533:7F4D:23F2
I don't really understand if that's normal here or not. Fthobe (talk) 15:08, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- This appears to be one user on a Vodafone India mobile connection (Vodafone IN have the v6 address block `2402:3a80::/32`, the entirety of which appears to be used to serve mobile customers). Semiprotecting the articles would probably be a good shout. -- a they/them | argue | contribs 16:58, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello Praxidicae,
- Your help can make a difference
NPP Sorting can be a great way to find pages needing new page patrolling that match your strengths and interests. Using ORES, it divides articles into topics such as Literature or Chemistry and on Geography. Take a look and see if you can find time to patrol a couple pages a day. With over 10,000 pages in the queue, the highest it's been since ACPERM, your help could really make a difference.

Your edit on Petr Čech
I noticed that you recently removed a part of the "Personal Life" section in the wikipedia page of Petr Čech. Presumably, it is because the source may not be considered reliable. So what do you think about this? I did some research on wikipedia's stance on Daily Mail as a source and found out that the old Daily Mail has some good reputation. Thus, older articles can be considered. This article, being published in 2009, looks like a potentially reliable source. Further, you may check this too. Calvin Lo AfD
Just a heads-up: I have suspicions that your AfD nomination of Calvin Lo is being heavily canvassed. Several editors with extremely new accounts and minimal amounts of edits voted to keep the article, most of them even citing WP:GNG (I don't think it is very likely that a bunch of newbie accounts suddenly each have in-depth knowledge of project shortcuts). I would like to indicate on the AfD nomination that I suspect that the discussion is being canvassed, but I don't know how to do this in appropriate manner. Do I call out the specific accounts? Are there templates to indicate that canvassing is being suspected? Thanks in advance. Ealuscerwen (talk) 16:28, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's fairly obvious these were canvassed and I'm guessing someone put out a call on social media. I believe it's being looked into - but thanks for the heads up. Praxidicae (talk) 16:28, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- I wrote a quick note for the closer explaining the situation, in case the amount of canvassing going on wouldn't be immediately obvious to them. Britishfinance also tagged a few of the accounts as SPAs at the exact same time, so I hope this makes it abundantly clear to the closer that some of the participants in the discussion haven't found the nomination in an organic way. Ealuscerwen (talk) 16:57, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- Good work Prax, and that table must have taken a lot of time to do. I suspect given Lo's wealth, that this BLP will reappear again, and thus the BLP will become a useful Honeypot for tracking future PAID editors (and their network of other PAID articles)? Well done again. Britishfinance (talk) 14:21, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks! There's actually a script for the table (you have to manually add all the content and sources though, it's annoying.) I'm worried about the plethora of fake sourcing that has been inundating this project lately...I wish people were more discerning about the sources they're using since most of the time it's pretty easy to tell just by looking at their "about us" page...Praxidicae (talk) 14:23, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

Karen Hall Stewart, page by dmaksymec
Dear Praxidicae,
I will not make any further edits. I want to do this properly and follow the guidelines, so I appreciate your feedback and comments.
I am not receiving compensation for this page, but I do have a financial stake in Fairway. It is one of Karen Stewart's companies, and I am now a part-owner.
I initiated the Karen Stewarts page over 18 months ago as she is one of Canada's top women entrepreneurs and was surprised that she did not have a presence on Wikipedia. So started it.
I was recently was able to publish, so I did.
Are there any services available that can do this without bias or any COI. I initially tried to find one, but so many seemed "black hat." I don't want that.
Sincerely Daryl Maksymec

Kasumi (song)
Hey there,
I was just wondering why you tagged Kasumi for speedy deletion? It s a perfectly fine page as far as I'm aware. It's not spam, it has citations and accurate information with proof, it's done the same way like all the other song pages for Dir En Grey, and it's not breaking any of the policies. If all of these reasons are incorrect, then you mind as well flag all the other Dir En Grey songs as well. That being said, I would like a reasonable response or at least a guide on what needs to fixed?
Sincerely, a fellow Wikipedia Editor

Inquire about the draft
Good evening, I now have two articles, which is a draft. How and when do you become an article about a personality and a phenomenon for everyone? With Regards. Ali.jamal3 (talk) 17:50, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
User suspiciously keen on deleting articles
Hi Praxidicae, you seem very keen on deleting articles, you have also written that I am paid to edit which I am not additionally I have specified this in the past. After looking at your talk page I have also noticed some others have had articles deleted thanks to you. You don't leave a very clear reason why the article is deleted and you rebuke the article in an area of field that you seemingly have little to no knowledge or experience with. All of that and your user page is political. These things ad up to a quite suspicious gut feeling which I'm sure some will be familiar with. Please move the article back before further consequences shall come from this dispute. Eratomsen454 (talk) 13:48, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
- Eratomsen454 what exactly are you finding suspicious and what consequences are you referring to? And while we're at it, can you please explain your connection to Winkler and how you came to be the copyright holder of this photo which you've claimed as your own work? Praxidicae (talk) 13:49, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
- Eratomsen454 Also, remember we assume good faith here...you seem to be skipping over that. -- Dane talk 13:51, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
You can read about who I am and my field of expertise at my user page, it explains itself. I uploaded this photo to wiki commons to use in the article about Winkler. It comes from his website https://winklerviolin.com/ I have had articles denied many times, yet I always look at the user's page, just to be on the safe side. I am not interested in getting into finger-pointing competitions, let us settle this dispute.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Eratomsen454 (talk • contribs) Eratomsen454 (talk) 14:25, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
- Eratomsen454 You know very little about Wikipedia based on your comments here. You claimed the photo was your own work, which is untrue, so why am I to believe what you say now? Aside from that, we have strict copyright policies. Read them. If you dislike my userpage, don't look at it. And per your own words
justifiably deleted
, well, if you have an issue with justified deletions, Wikipedia isn't going to be fun for you. We have specific sourcing and inclusion criteria. We don't have articles on everything that has ever existed. That's what blogs and google are for. If you intend on initiating an "investigation by admin", go to WP:ANI and make your case. Praxidicae (talk) 14:10, 26 June 2020 (UTC) - Also if you think saying "Black lives matter" is political, kindly see yourself off my talk page. Praxidicae (talk) 14:16, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
If I have claimed that the picture was mine I admit I have made a mistake I will certainly change that, no one is perfect I think we all make a typo like mistakes. Again the deletion was not particularly justified (An explanation was what i was poking around after.) Additionally, I will certainly not make the mistake of engaging in political discourse upon internet platforms.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Eratomsen454 (talk • contribs)
- Eratomsen454 please WP:SIGN your edits. Further, I never deleted anything. I don't even have that capability. I did move it to draft space because it was inappropriate for mainspace and does not demonstrate notability nor does it contain reliable sources. Read WP:BLP.
