Death of the Liberal Class is a 2010 book by the Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and writer Chris Hedges. Hedges writes on left wing politics in the United States, and asserts the existence of a distinct socioeconomic class which he calls "the liberal class", which has declined in influence since the 1960s.[1][2]
Reception
The book received positive reviews in NPR, Publisher Weekly, and Socialist Worker,[2][3][4] and a mixed review in The New Yorker.[5]
