Did You Know A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on July 3, 2020.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that Gwen Stefani's song "Hollaback Girl" was the first single ever to sell more digital downloads than CDs?
Current status: Former featured article, current good article

Remixes

There's one more remix you might have to add to the list. I remembered there being a 12" vinyl of a Fingazz remix featuring singer/rapper Diamonique. Given the age of the song, the vinyl of it may have already disappeared; however, the remix does appear on Fingazz's discography. ElMeroEse (talk) 01:11, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

FAR might be needed

From a glance, I'm not sure this is up to FA-standards. The lead doesn't include genres, critics' opinions, or anything on the music video. The "track listings" section is unreferenced, and so is most of "In pop culture". I'm also not sure if the audio samples are really beneficial. I'll check back in a week or so to see if any improvements have been made. Otherwise, I will list this at FAR. Snuggums (talk / edits) 22:24, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result was: promoted by The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk07:24, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Improved to Good Article status by Thatoneweirdwikier (talk). Self-nominated at 15:02, 21 June 2020 (UTC).[reply]

  • Substantial article, meeting of GA criteria implicates DYK pass. Article was promoted to Good status within 7 days of nomination. Editor is QPQ exempt. Hook is interesting, cited, and short enough for DYK. I will note that DYK does get an abundance of "[article] was the first [blank]" hooks submitted so editors occasionally recommend that nominators submit one or two alternate hooks, but I personally think this hook is interesting enough to stand on its own.
