KQQB is an AM radio station licensed to the city of Stockdale, Texas.[4] It broadcasts on the frequency of 1520 kHz which is a United States clear-channel frequency; KOKC in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and WWKB in Buffalo, New York share Class A status of this frequency.

KQQB is a daytime-only radio station with a format known as 1520 AM The Cube. It must leave the air from sunset to sunrise in order to prevent interference to the nighttime skywave signals of the Class A stations.

The station has a construction permit with the FCC to substantially increase power to 20,000 watts.[5] KQQB is owned by The Raftt Corporation in Seabrook, Texas.

History

The station was originally licensed to Hallettsville.[6] Previous callsigns were KRJH in 1979 and KHLT in 1995.[7]
