On the Border is the third studio album by the American rock band Eagles, released in 1974 (see 1974 in music). Don Felder joined the band during the recording of this album.

"My Man" is a tribute to Gram Parsons. Bernie Leadon wrote and the sang the song. Leadon & Parsons were members of the pioneering country-rock band The Flying Burrito Brothers.
