You said you own the original japanese tankoubon. I have a question. I'm doing a translation from English to Spanish and the first three volumes are rather doubtful in accuracy. Here's the question: I need to know what Alucard is saying here on page 21 of the first chapter of the first volume, the same page where he holds a bullet with his teeth. Thank you. Alucard_(Hellsing)

Hi, it seems as if you have made several edits to the Hellsing series lately; there was this edit and I also caught one on the media List of Hellsing media page. I'm not sure if these are in good faith or not, so I am just leaving this note. Please do not add nonsense such as J.H. Brenner as an alias of Alucard and also please do not change correct information on the media page. Thank you. Where's your source that males don't need to be virgins? --Obsidian-fox 19:18, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry it took so long for me to reply to this...anyway, I was completely wrong about that, I got mixed up. Males have to be virgins too. Schrödinger 21:45, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Schro!!

Just wondering if you have received my *screened* message in LJ? Or you don't activate the 'comment notification via e-mails'? --Saphire diablo 11:48, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey SD! Nope, I don't have access to my email right now so I didn't see the notification yet... Schrödinger 20:52, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I knew it o_0. Remember back then when we talk about *beeeep* website? I need to talk to you in privey. Do you have Yahoo Messenger --Saphire diablo 12:47, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, but I do have MSN Messenger. If you have that you can add me at jcashin@roadrunner.nf.net
In the meantime I'll see if I can get at my e-mail inbox...XD Schrödinger 04:29, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Integra/Integral

Yes, I'm trying to convince you to move Integral Hellsing back to Integra Hellsing. With a lot of wikipedia articles, the main article's title is usually the most colloquial name, giving the full name in the intro paragraph (Buffalo Bill, Mark Twain, James Tiptree, Jr). Integra is obviously her most colloquial name, seeing as that is what everyone calls her except for the rare times when someone wants to show her some respect (tongue-in-cheek). Anyway, I'm just saying that unless you want to make the article into Integral Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, Integra Hellsing should be good. None of that wishy-washy inbetweenness of Integral. Axem Titanium 03:38, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm...okay, I see your point. I mainly did it to reinforce the fact that her full name is Integral, as people often edit the articles and remove all instances of "Integral". Since we already have her full name featured prominently in the article, I guess there's no need to change the title. Schrödinger 03:46, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see you moved it. Thanks! I like it when there's little conflict. Axem Titanium 02:02, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kohta Hirano

The "oh" in Kohta is a perfectly acceptable way to transliterate Hirano's name. You have heard of Passport Hepburn before, right? Either way, we (as in Wikipedia) have chosen to use "Kohta Hirano". WhisperToMe 03:33, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hellsing Volume 8

Hi. I know this isn't helping Wikipedia any, but I noticed an edit where you said you had Hellsing Volume 8, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me where you got it from. Pleeeaaassseeee???:) - posted by God-Emperor 12:21 16.08.06

My cousin's friend's dad (I'm serious) brought it back to me from Japan...he got it at a store called "Book1st". But that's not the answer you wanted, right? :P Schrödinger 02:09, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh well. I was hoping that somehow the people at Dark Horse had translated and released Volume 8 in english really quickly because they know that people who do not know japanese are frustrated at waiting for so long. Perhaps I was too hopeful. Thanks anyway. :( God-Emperor 11:46, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weapons

John F. T. Cashin, what do you mean "Joshua is fanon"? It appears in the original manga. Explain yourself. Helios 22:02, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where does it appear in the original manga? The gun is always referred to as .454 Casull. Schrödinger 22:10, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Do you need precise volume, chapter, page, line coordinates, or you prefer a snapshot?Helios 23:04, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever works for you. Schrödinger 22:54, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Reference to Joshua: volume 2, chapter 1, page 14, Walter says: Our new 13 mm. pistol. This is a radically different desing from the previous Joshua .454, our first custom-built weapon.Helios 18:50, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I figured that's what you were talking about. That's not even a mistranslation, they (the scanlators) simply changed "Casull" to "Joshua". I own the original Japanese tankoubon and I can assure you the word "Joshua" isn't there. Dark Horse's translation is correct in this case.
They probably did that because they call the gun "Joshua" in some old promotional artwork from the TV series. It's not canon; it never appears in the manga, the OVA series, or even in the TV series (not in the show itself). Schrödinger 20:11, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I stand corrected.Helios 11:44, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
