Review Now Complete
This page seems a little too detailed about the construction process, does anyone really care what the spacing of the piles is? The page could do with a bit of a review, by someone who knows a little about the current state if the building and a lot of that construction detail should go. Anyone agree? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bs0u10e01 (talk • contribs) 12:57, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Fire Safety
Fire safety in tall buildings has become more of a public concern (due to the Grenfell fire) than when the Cube was built. It is worrying to read that there are locked fire doors keeping the tenant and owner-occupier wings apart. The cladding is described as made of polyester-coated or anodised aluminium, attached to the building by silicone, with insulation behind it. The link to the Building newspaper/magazine article that should give more details does not work. The manufacturers' websites emphasise sustainability, not safety. Considering that the top floors of this building are occupied by a three-to-four star hotel, it would be good to have some information in the article about fire protection.
