:Great thank you. There’s still a tag on the article pointing out that the article needs inline citations, so that readers can see how each substantive statement in the article is supported by sources. That takes time, but it is necessary. Do you know how to do this? Mccapra (talk) 09:51, 3 May 2020 (UTC)

Polesskoe Offensive
Hello Mccapra,
I've noticed that you left a message on the recently created article by me- "Polesskoe Offensive".
Regarding the so-called "description" of this offensive in a subsection of the Dnieper–Carpathian Offensive. As a matter of fact, the Polesskoe Offensive of the 2nd Belorussian Front in Eastern Poland is not described there at all- only the name of the offensive is mentioned but the text below actually describes the combat operations of the 3rd Ukrainian Front in southern Ukraine during the "Bereznegovatoye–Snigirevka Offensive", while text below there actually describes the events taking place during the "Proskurov–Chernovtsy Offensive". In this aspect the Dnieper-Carpathian Offensive article is messy and needs to be fixed. Thus, my article "Polesskoe Offensive" is correct and that's why you think that it "presents an account that is significantly different to them in in the other article." In this regard can the templates be removed, cause it ain't my fault that the editors of the Dnieper-Carpathian Offensive made factual mistakes in those areas.
As I wrote during the creation of the article, I will provide details later on why this offensive is significant.
In addition, I don't see why one source used multiple times is a problem, as long as it has references to archival material that can be backed up. Does a book mentioning the date when the battle began or how many troops fought are wrong?
I also don't understand why you added at the top of my article in the template that "The examples and perspective in this article or section might have an extensive bias or disproportional coverage towards one or more specific regions." What "extensive bias" and "disproportional coverage towards one or more specific regions" in particular are you talking about?
As you see, there are factual mistakes done by the editors of the Dnieper-Carpathian Offensive in the past, which is not my fault, while I, as mentioned before, will constantly update the article. Therefore, can these templates be removed? <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned comment added by Tai3chinirv7ana (talk • contribs) 18:18, 4 May 2020 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->
:Hi thanks for your note. Would you please leave a note on the talk page of the other article to explain what you’ve said here? Don’t worry about the templates, they’re intended to direct editors with specialist knowledge of the subject to look at it and evaluate it. If the view of members of WikiProject Military History is that your article is correct then they’ll take the templates off. My role as reviewer isn’t to make a final judgement on the content but to point specialist editors to issues I see (on which I may well be wrong). He is role model for many young businessmans.

A Hachette UK published book also describes Kulandaivel Mudaliyar as famous businessman Tirukodimadachengunrur (talk) 08:55, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

: Hi thanks for your note. A biography of a businessman is required to meet the standards in WP:BASIC and WP:ANYBIO. I looked at the sources you provided and I’m afraid they don’t meet that standard. For example the fact that a person’s name is mentioned in passing once in a book by Hachette does not support notability. A profile on an online shopping site doesn’t help either. If this gets deleted don’t be discouraged, but try writing new articles that aren’t biographies of living or recently-living people, and aren’t about companies. Also it’s a good idea not to create new articles directly in mainspace. Instead, use |Articles for Creation where more experienced editors will help you work on a draft until it meets requirements and can be published. Reliable sources

Hello Mccapra, you have suggested me to replace the reference of trekshitiz.com by those cited by Govt. agencies. I would like to bring to your notice that trekshitiz is a responsible and renowned govt. registered association in Mahrashtra. The members are dedicated historians and trekkers.About the website www.trekshitiz.com, in 2005 it received the best website award from Marathi Vikas Parishad for its contribution. Trekshitiz provides the information to trekkers, ways to reach the forts, fascinating places of interest in forts on the personal experiences of the members accomppanied by photographs Read more at: https://www.deccanherald.com/content/599557/his-mission-document-protect-forts.html. Most of the forts in India are in ruined condition for the lsat 100 years. The rulers which followed the King Shivaji and Peshwa rule have destroyed the forts and the acess to the forts. Very few people knew about them, so also very few literature is available in the govt records as well as in public domain. I mostly give the references to the history from the Govt. Gazetteer. Now there is a growing enthusuasm in the youth to discover the ruined forts and reconstruct the ruins. I will try to give references from Govt. records and publishings as far as possibe. User talk:Ccmarathe 1st May 2020

Hi @Ccmarathe: thanks for your message. My concern isn’t that the forts aren’t notable. I don’t know about each individual one, but I suppose that most or all of them are notable, whether they are in ruins or not. My concern is that you have put a lot of work into these articles, and that without better sourcing, you are going to face one deletion proposal after another when other editors look at the articles, see the lack of solid sourcing, and think the article shouldn’t be in the encyclopedia. That is frustrating and demoralising for you and it’s what I want to try and avoid. The best way of avoiding this is for you to create fewer articles, more slowly, with better sources. I can tell you that for the purposes of Wikipedia, www.trekshitiz.com absolutely is not a reliable source. If you use it as a starting point for article creation that’s fine, but you will need to find other references to back up what you say. For example I just took a look at ‘Kanhera Fort’, which you created an article about. I did a google book search and found this. All of these books are reliable sources. Some are only available in snippet view but take what you can from sources like those and include them as your references. Sources can be in Marathi rather than English, but they have to be reliable independent sources. If you keep creating articles sourced mainly or only to trekhitiz, I’m afraid you’re going to have an unpleasant time ahead. Let me know if you need my help. All the best Mccapra (talk) 04:50, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi, Mccapra. there are two forts with the same name Kanheragad or Kanhera fort. One of them is in Nashik district which I have mentioned and given the reference from Nashik district gazetteer, the location on google map is https://goo.gl/maps/J81GxAnD1s3YSznZ7 . The other fort which you have searched and mentioned is in Jalgaon district with locationon google map https://goo.gl/maps/fSzJ2Po7cV5by7xN6. I know that there are confusions about names and my obective is to give reliable information. Hence forth I will try to provide references from Govt records. User talk:Ccmarathe 1st May 2020

Thank you. My main concern was possible copyvio but that seems to be well under control. I’m not going to review them all because I think it’s good practice to have different reviewers look at a run of articles like these, but if they’re still languishing in the queue in a few weeks’ time feel free to ping me and I’ll come back to them. Thanks to you and your students for so many good quality new articles. Mccapra (talk) 16:50, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
