Hi. I hope you are doing well.<br />I recently closed [[:Talk:History of Monopoly#Requested move 29 July 2020]], and moved "History of the board game Monopoly" to "History of Monopoly". While doing the "post move cleanup", I saw your numerous edits to the article, and talkpage. Later I also saw your contributions related to Douglas Adams, and H2G2. I wanted to thank you for all your contributions to wikipedia. I sincerely respect the way you passionately edited the articles. I hope you see this message someday. It was truly my pleasure to come across your edits. Thanks again, —usernamekiran [[User talk:usernamekiran|(talk)]] 05:41, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

My user and talk page policies

I have noted that a few other Wikipedians have started posting such disclaimers, and I feel that I must as well, as my user page and talk page have been vandalized at various times.

  1. Vandalism will be reverted on sight. Period.
  2. Personal attacks will not be tolerated and will be reported on sight. Period.
  3. Defamatory statements will be removed AND reported on sight. Period.

I have read over MANY of the primary Wikipedia policies, and I do ask that other editors do the same, even newbies. I CAN AND WILL UPHOLD THEM.

Signed and updated,
John D. Buell

Work on Monopoly History Page

John, I'm going through my records having filmed interviews with many US & World Monopoly Champions to fully flesh out a history of ALL the country and world championships, not just US & Canada. I doubt that it will make sense to have 1 table large enough to contain all the countries, so we may want to revert the changes you made in reorganizing the tournament winners sometime in the future. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Suburban Prairie Conference has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No notability asserted

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
