Chhutir Ghonta (Template:Lang-bn The Last Bell) is a 1980 Bengali holiday film written and directed by Azizur Rahman. It's one of the greatest successful tragedy Bangladeshi film. It stars Abdur Razzak, Shabana, Sujata and Sumon in the lead.[1]
This was a movie based on a true story of a school boy in Cox's Bazaar in Bangladesh. The boy named "Khokon" was the main character of 12 years. He died in his school washroom mistakenly closed by the caretaker the day before the Muslim vacation of Eid-ul-Azha started. Then he starved to death and was found dead after the vacation was over.
