During the 1999–2000 English football season, Ipswich Town competed in the Football League First Division.

Season summary

In 1999–2000 season, Ipswich qualified for the Division One play-off final, the last First Division play-off final at Wembley Stadium before the stadium was to be redeveloped.[1] They beat Barnsley 4–2 securing their return to the Premiership after an absence of five years.[2]
