99 Neighbors is an American music group based in Burlington, Vermont. It consists of nine members: Connor “Swank” Stankevich, Hank "HANKNATIVE" Collins, Sam Paulino, Aidan Ostby, Julian “Juju” Segar-Reid, Caleb “Somba” Hoh, Jared “JFear” Fier, Cal Rawlings, and Shane Kaseta.[1] Their music can be described as a combination of hip hop, jazz, rock, and R&B influences. The group has drawn frequent comparisons to Odd Future and Brockhampton.[2] The group is made up of a mixture of singers, rappers, and producers.

Members Aidan Ostby, Sam Paulino, and Hank Collins graduated from South Burlington High School in South Burlington, Vermont, a suburb of Burlington.[3] Sam Paulino and Hank Collins played in their high school's football and lacrosse teams, together. Upon graduating, Sam Paulino and Hank Collins moved into an apartment in Burlington where they began recording and producing music full-time.[4] Caleb Hoh (Somba) and Julian Segar-Reid (Juju), two other members of the group, also grew up together. Caleb Hoh and Julian Segar-Reid connected when they were contacted by Sam Paulino over SoundCloud about a collaborative opportunity after having discovered they lived within a mile of each other.
