Puberty 2

I think that Puberty 2 is a strong candidate for an independent article, given its wide reception across a number of major publications (The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, The Guardian). Where can I place a request for the creation of this article? --Alexsenauke (talk) 19:44, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pitchfork quote

The Pitchfork quote seems a bit long, but there isn't too much content in the "Career" section. I'm debating about trimming the quote down to express just one idea from the review. --Dbmikus (talk) 06:00, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The quote summed up the album and its content very well IMO, maybe break it down into smaller pieces? Aleccat 22:06, 12 January 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aleccat (talkcontribs)

I deleted the quote because I thought it was way too long and took up most of her Career text. I am expanding her Wikipedia page in other ways. --Ljguterman (talk) 20:12, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Real Name

Mitski's real (birth) name is Mitsuki Frances Laycock. Why was this reverted, and as vandalism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nihonfreak (talkcontribs) 19:51, 23 August 2018 (UTC) --Nihonfreak (talk) 19:53, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is the name her music is published under, so the assumption is it's her legal name, but is there anywhere else this info can be sourced to, i.e. an interview or article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SacraConversazione (talkcontribs) 19:49, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stalin?

What was the whole stalin mixup about? Cile112 (talk) 00:11, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Japanese-American"

Does Mitski explicitly identify as Japanese-American? I see Mitski#Personal_life says "half Japanese, half American but not fully either", which doesn't read clearly as Japanese-American to me. Thus I'm thinking it's a possible WP:BLP violation to say "Japanese-American" in WP voice without better sourcing. I'd be inclined to change to "American" in this article and in related articles where she is described (or even just remove the ethno-national identifier entirely) unless there are multiple reliable sources that say "Japanese-American". What do others think? AleatoryPonderings (talk) 05:57, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
