Ashandarei was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the late 1980s. He joined the Wikipedia community in March, 2005. The name Ashandarei is derived from the name of the spear wielded by Matrim Cauthon in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

Biography

Ashandarei favors "older" movies and classic rock music as opposed to today's pop cultural drivel. He also loves videogames and books. As part of his love for videogames, he contributes to the Zelda Universe Wiki and the StrategyWiki as user Ashandarei.

Aspirations

Ashandarei aspires to become either a videogame designer, a videogame journalist, or a screenwriter. He would like to attend college at Brown University.

Potential Bias Revealed

Ashandarei's is by his own admission a very open-minded person. He does not tolerate discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual preference, etc. However, he believes discrimination in moderation is necessary in a society such as ours, namely discrimination against stupid people. While he is tolerant of those with views opposite his own, his views are most often the right ones. That being stated, he is an atheist, a staunch believer in science and evolution, and an advocate of free speech in all cases, even in regards to words considered inappropriate by society. He also supports the use of proper grammar.
