Girls5Eva is an upcoming American comedy television series created by Tina Fey and Meredith Scardino. The series will premiere in 2020 on Peacock.[1][2][3]

Girls5Eva centers on "a one-hit-wonder girl group from the '90s that reunites to give their pop star dreams one more shot."[1]

On January 16, 2020, Tina Fey announced at a Peacock investor presentation event that she was executive producing an original series for the upcoming streaming service, Peacock.[2]
The series will be executive produced by Tina Fey, Meredith Scardino, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond, David Miner and Eric Gurian.[3] Production companies involved are Fey's Little Stranger, Carlock's Bevel Gears, 3 Arts Entertainment and Universal Television.[1]
On August 10, 2020, it was announced that Sara Bareilles joined the cast in a starring role.[4]
In October 2020, it was announced that Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell joined the cast in starring roles.[5][6][7] In same month, it was announced that Ashley Park joined the cast in a recurring role.[8]
