Synopsis

Template:Spoiler Released after centuries spent entombed beneath the Artic ice, the Titans, Greek mythic gods, set out to eliminate their captors, the Elders. Phoebe and Paige are nearly defeated by the Titans, but are saved by Chris, a mysterious Whitelighter from the future. Meanwhile, Leo makes a decision to give the Charmed Ones the ultimate power to vanquish the Titans, recreating them as Greek Goddesses, despite the risk that they will be seduced by their vast new powers. Phoebe becomes the Goddess of Love, Piper the Goddess of Hearth, and Paige the Goddess of War.

• Titans: Titans are ancient and all-powerful gods who once ruled the Earth they were entombed by the Elders three thousand years ago. The only way the Elders could stop them was by by infusing mortals with tremendous amount of power. However, when the mortals trapped the Titans, the power had corrupted them and declared themselves as Gods: the Greek Gods. Three Titans were freed by a demon, but he was later vanquished by them, and were later vanquished by the Charmed Ones who were transformed into Greek Goddesses. The known Titans were Meta, Cronos, and Demetrius.

Trivia

• The episode title is a reference to the phrase Oh my god! and the Japanese series Ah My Goddess!.
• This is the first appearance of Chris Perry, Piper and Leo's later-revealed second son.
• This is the second appearance of Darryl's wife Sheila Morris. The first episode she appeared in was "Centennial Charmed".
• Phoebe begins to receive a series of premonitions starting from this episode into several others in which the audience does not see her vision. Actually this occurs for the first time in Lucky Charmed.
• When he first appeared, Chris said that his name was Chris Perry in order to hide his identity. Many have assumed that "Perry" is actually his middle name.
• Chris' appearance in this episode is the first time we see an adult male witch. Before this episode, MFE the male witches have been children.
• In this episode Chris states that in his future Paige never survived the battle with the Titans. Thus, he never knew his aunt Paige in his lifetime. However, in other episodes since, Chris makes several references to future events that involved Paige. It is assumed that the future and his memories of the future have changed since he saved Paige. Or, that is because Chris was not telling the truth, he knew most of the thing that was going to happen after Meta confronted Paige, he knew Leo was going to become Elder and he himself was going to become the Halliwell's whitelighter, MFE of these won't happen if Paige die.
• Actor Brian Thompson previously appeared in the Charmed episode "Apocalypse Not."
• The Titan Meta had the power to turn beings into stone with her stare. This is an ability that Gorgons possess.
• Phoebe states that it is over ninety degrees. However, she wearing pants and Piper wearing a sweater over her dress.
• Piper and Phoebe talk about getting air conditioning for the manor, but in a previous episode "Sight Unseen", Cole turns on the air conditioning to help flush out the demon Troxa.
• In Buffy the Vampire Slayer series finale, Willow, a very powerful self-taught witch, exclaims "Oh, my goddess!" at the end of her spell to distribute the power of the scythe to MFE potential Slayers. Joss Whedon (writer and creator of Buffy) himself said in a commentary that he got the phrase from Charmed.
• Adults are not suppose to see the presence of fairy unless they were enchanted, but in this episode, Pheobe and Piper are able to see the fairy without any help of spell.
• Before Piper find out the way to channel her goddes power, she was not able to track Leo or go to the Elderland. She was able to teleport to Elderland after she defeat the Titans.
• The trident Paige carried as goddess of war, is actually the symbol of Poseidon the god of the sea or disaster or earthshaker.
• Demetrius (from Greek — Δημήτριος)is actually a male form of Demeter, goddess of earth, grain and agriculture.
• This episode got a 4.7/7 in ratings share.
