Vladymyr Dakhno (Template:Lang-ru; March 7, 1932, Zaporizhia[1] — July 28,[2] 2006, Kiev, Ukraine) was a Ukrainian animator, animation film director and scriptwriter. Laureate of the Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (1988), People's Artist of Ukraine (1996).[1] Best known for the animation series Cossacks (Казаки). Worked at Kievnauchfilm (currently, Ukranimafilm).

He was born on March 7, 1932 in Zaporozhye (USSR). After school I entered the Kiev Medical Institute. Almost immediately, he transferred to the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute where he studied at the class of Joseph Karakis.[3]

On March 7, 2013 Google released a Doodle in his memory.[4]
