No Land's Man is an upcoming Bangladeshi drama directed and written by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, scheduled to be released in 2021. The film set on a South Asian man's journey that becomes complicated when he meets an Australian woman in America, which is a loose adaptation of the 2014 novel in the same name by British-American actor and writer Aasif Mandvi.[2][3] The plot of the film deals with the fascism and the identity crisis.[4] It stars including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Eisha Chopra, Tahsan Rahman Khan and others.[5][6] The film, a joint production of United States, India and Bangladesh produced by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Marina Fernandez Ferri, A.R. Rahman,[7] Shrihari Sathe, Nawazuddin Siddiqui[8] and Nusrat Imrose Tisha. A.R. Rahman also joins the film as a music composer.[7][9]

Pre-production

In 2014, the film was awarded the Script Development Fund in the Motion Picture Association and Asia Pacific Screen Awards,[10][11] while being a part of the Asian Project Market at Busan International Film Festival.[5][6] It was also chosen as the best project at India’s Film Bazaar.[12] The film shot in the different locations in the United States, Australia and India.[7]
