On August 16, 2014, she won the bronze medal at the 2014 European Championship She has a personal outdoor best of 1:57.37 set in Rio 2016[1][2]. After placing 5th in the 800 m race during the 2016 Rio games, Jóźwik controversially declared herself the silver medalist sating, "I'm glad I'm the first European, and the second white." She later apologized for comments, but insisted she is entitled to her opinion[3].
