Welcome

Hello! I saw your edit to Ebenezer O. Grosvenor and read about your interest in Michigan elections and politicians. I've been working recently on adding some articles on historical Michigan politicians. I created 1st Michigan Legislature and have been working on turning the red links blue, starting with the senators (Horace H. Comstock, Jonathan D. Davis, John McDonell (American politician), Conrad Ten Eyck, Laurent Durocher, Edward D. Ellis, Olmstead Hough, Silas Finch, William J. Moody, Henry Rumsey, John Clarke (Michigan politician), and Charles C. Hascall so far). I think it would be good to eventually get the state legislative history to the same level of completeness as Category:New York (state) legislative sessions. It sounds like your interest is primarily in more recent elections/politicians, but I thought you might be interested in taking a look at these articles, and would welcome any improvements or corrections! Sarcasmboy (talk) 19:05, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! I'm absolutely interested in this project! Right now I'm sort of working my way down the Michigan ballot and backwards in time to get rid of red links and generally improve article quality. (For example, Frank Murphy (lieutenant governor) is a different guy than Frank Murphy, yet both served in Michigan politics around the same era. Also, I can only find one paragraph on FM(LG) from an old version of Michigan.gov, so that's fun.) My general thought process is to focus on NPOV information that would be most valuable to contemporary readers, but I'm very interested in helping out with historical versions of the Legislature! Perhaps we can focus on one session at a time. I'll take a look at the articles you mentioned today and let you know if I can help! MatthewRMiller2 (talk) 19:40, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited National Lieutenant Governors Association, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Georgia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
