A new newsletter directory is out!

A new Newsletter directory has been created to replace the old, out-of-date one. If your WikiProject and its taskforces have newsletters (even inactive ones), or if you know of a missing newsletter (including from sister projects like WikiSpecies), please include it in the directory! The template can be a bit tricky, so if you need help, just post the newsletter on the template's talk page and someone will add it for you.

Naming conventions for public statues

See Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/Visual_arts#Naming_conventions_for_public_statues. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:20, 22 July 2019 (UTC)

Article titles

There is a discussion about titles for articles on statues etc at Wikipedia talk:Article titles which may be of interest. PamD 07:08, 22 October 2018 (UTC)

  • Please? We really need editors editing public art to be in the conversation. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 21:31, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
    • This one's tough. I'm waiting to see where we land, because many articles are likely going to need to be moved. I'm guilty of using several conventions because there was so much inconsistency, as well as differences based on region. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:53, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
      • I know. I pushed myself to say something. I think the conversation is important because new sculpture and other public art articles are coming, and they may be titled haphazardly. A statement addressing the issues would be very useful. One question I have, does the art literature name these things differently to the public media? —SmokeyJoe (talk) 22:17, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
