Blast Beat is an American film that premiered on January 26, 2020 at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.[1] It is a coming of age film written and directed by Estaban about 2 Colombian brothers in the US in 2000.[2] It runs for 105 minutes and was acquired by Sony Pictures for distribution. It is in English and Spanish with English subtitles. There is a lot of "metal culture" and dancing in the film.[3][4] It competed in the Sundance Dramatic Competition.[5]
