I'm a former student and was the bookkeeper Of Laurence Merrick Studios in 1977. I was on my way to work (about 15 minutes away) when I got the news about Laurence Merrick. I was told that he was leaving the studio and on his way back to his office, when someone methodically ask who was Laurence Merrick, and once pointed out, walked behind him and "point blank" shot him in the back! He fell in the door way of his office! With tears in my eyes it was like the light of the world suddenly fell from grace and life didn't exist anymore! I was only 25 years old at the time and life stopped for me, and it also seems like it only happened yesterday! |

'Men in Black', came in the next day and immediately tried to remove all of our classroom material and study material as well as take away the curriculum from class and from existence. We paid for the materials, so it was ours to keep! I have lots more to tell and are willing to share the entire story! |
