Your opinion of AI on Wikipedia?
Hi @Pahunkat:
It looks like you’ve been editing on Wikipedia for a while. Welcome! I’m a researcher working on Wikipedia algorithms and artificial intelligences (AIs). Maybe it seems a little random to hear from someone like me…if you’ve only been here for a little while, why would we care about your opinion?
You may or may not be aware of them, but the algorithms that operate on Wikipedia affect new editors like you in very important ways. Even if you’ve only made a few edits, we really need to understand how you feel about your initial experiences -- good or bad -- so that we can make sure that the AIs we build in the future do what users like you want them to do.
Would you consider talking with me briefly about AI on Wikipedia? I will send you a $15 Amazon gift card to say thanks. Reply to this message here or send me an email at smit3694@umn.edu and I can share more info and plan a time to connect.

You may benefit from using RedWarn
Hello, Pahunkat! I'm Ed6767, a developer for RedWarn. I noticed you have been using Twinkle and was wondering if you'd like to try RedWarn, a new modern and user friendly tool specifically designed to improve your counter-vandalism experience.
RedWarn is currently in use by over two hundred other Wikipediansand feedback so far has been extremely positive. In fact, in a recent survey of RedWarn users, 90% of users said they would recommend RedWarn to another editor.
It's easy to get started with RedWarn. Unlike other anti-vandalism programs, it only takes a moment to get started. There's no setup or download. It runs on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Linux and more, and can be installed and used by any autoconfirmed user.
Installing RedWarn is risk-free and only takes a minute, and you can uninstall it at any time. If you're interested, please see the RedWarn tool page for more information on RedWarn's features and instructions on how to install and use it. Otherwise, feel free to remove this message from your talk page. If you have any further questions, please ping me or leave a message on RedWarn's talk page at WT:RW. Your feedback is much appreciated! Ed talk! 13:40, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Ed6767: Sorry for the late reply (over one month now!), I've tried to install RedWarn a few times but my computer can't access toolforge.com. However, it does work when I'm not at home. Is there a way to circumvent this or should I continue using twinkle? Thanks! Pahunkat (talk) 15:41, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi @Pahunkat, it's no problem. What browser are you using? Second, have you made sure to whitelist toolforge.org (not .com) from any firewalls/other software? 🎄🎄 Ed talk! 🎄🎄 15:44, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Ed6767: - That did the trick! Just whitelisted toolforge.org and now it's working. Thanks! :-) Pahunkat (talk) 15:52, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

Discussion about First Lady and Second Gentleman-designate titles in infoboxes of Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff
Please join a discussion here regarding whether the terms "First Lady of the United States Designate" and "Second Gentleman of the United States Designate" should be in the infoboxes of Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff, spouses of the president-elect and vice president-elect, respectively. We need to come to a consensus. Thank you for your participation. cookie monster (2020) 755 21:26, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
- @CookieMonster755: Have joined the discussion but will withhold my opinion until Pkeets clarifies what congress has said. Thanks! Pahunkat (talk) 18:51, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Rollback granted
Hi Pahunkat. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 02:16, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

What constitutes G1
For the recent pages you tagged under G1, only Draft:Why is silk produced ? is correct. Remember, G1 is only applicable if you can't understand anything being said. ToThAc (talk) 15:55, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know - I'll keep that in mind @ToThAc: Pahunkat (talk) 15:56, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
Regarding Zoomcar edit
Thanks Pahunkat for being a contributing member of Wikipedia and all. I just wanted my refund back from zoomcar, which interestingly I did a few hours of making the edit on wiki and posting it on Twitter, and sending the screenshots of my edits to zoomcar support via mail.
So even though the edit might help others who have been waiting for their refunds from zoomcar for a few months now, I got my money back so I am gonna take some rest. Vivianjeet (talk) 10:56, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Vivianjeet:, you really shouldn't be taking your grievances against a company to Wikipedia - the edits on Zoomcar constitute vandalism and were reverted by another user. Just don't do it again. However contribute to wikipedia constructively from now on and we can probably forget about this incident in the future. Thanks! Pahunkat (talk) 11:05, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
Is it vandalism if it is true? Vivianjeet (talk) 15:35, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Vivianjeet: Even if it is 'true', please refrain from posting your personal experiences with the company - especially without a valid source. Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 12:46, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

- @RadixxTheNefarious: Thanks for letting me know, did you use any of the content I put in the sandbox? Pahunkat (talk) 17:25, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Pahunkat: Yes, was that alright, or should I try rewording some more?
- @RadixxTheNefarious: Of course that was fine! I was hoping to work on it before it was published but now that it's done we can work on it in article space. Is it ok if I request a move to SSA impersonation scam though, because that was the revised title that I think would represent it better? Pahunkat (talk) 17:41, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
