Nathan James Robinson[1] (born 1989/90)[2][3] is a British-American journalist, socialist, and Editor-in-Chief of Current Affairs magazine, which he founded in 2015.
Early life and education
Robinson was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England.[2] In 1995 his family moved from a village outside Cambridge, England to Sarasota, Florida on the Gulf Coast of the United States.[4][3][5] He became an American citizen, along with his family, in 2001. Robinson attended Pine View School[4] in Osprey, Florida before attending Brandeis University graduating with both a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in arts. Following his time at Brandeis, Robinson received his J.D. degree from Yale Law School. Robinson was there for four years and graduated, before moving onto a Ph.D. degree at Harvard University in sociology. He took a leave of absence from the program after founding Current Affairs.[citation needed]
Current Affairs
Robinson founded the left-wing magazine Current Affairs in 2015 after a Kickstarter campaign raised US$16,000.[6]
Views
Robinson is a notable proponent of socialism.[7][8]
