No problem, thought I was messing about in the sandbox environment. Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JoshHoldsworthBiographer (talkcontribs) 11:52, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

On Radioactive waste.

About this edit. Good catch, seems like the first link is indeed broken, I must have incorrectly parsed it out of this ddg redirect link, probably just needs a "http://" prepended to it. However these references are studies done by The Mitusbishi Corp. and replicated by The Toyota Corp. I would hardly call "fringe" (Especially with Bill Gates getting in the mix.). The DDG link is the slides from this presentation, I didn't think that youtube links would work as references. The second link is a whitepaper written by Mr. Iwamura and associates and is a much more detailed explaination of the results. 12.227.104.109 (talk) 15:18, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

Dear Kolbasz Usualy I prefer to say good bye to people in better words, but for you personaly a few remarks, as you deserve. Wiki have so many gaps, becouse is made by peoples with many gaps. You rightly chose your nick name for your mental Wiki avatar, because kolbasz in Hungarian language means: sausage. And this is rightly description of capacity of your brain. Because of this nomination for deletion, in time you become very unhappy... wait and you will see and you will feel. So you will remember these above words. Jakub Szymański

I did my best to try to explain to you how your article violated Wikipedia policies and how it could possibly be salvaged, as did the others in the (unanimous) deletion discussion. Instead of listening you just dug in your heels, and now you're resorting to insults and what appears to be veiled threats. That's just sad. Kolbasz (talk) 10:24, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Jakub Szymański

As for your mantra: "The article cites various poems, speeches etc and postulates that they're prophecies about Pope John Paul II. The conclusion that they're prophecies about him is not drawn in any of the cited sources, but synthesized in the article itself".

There is now following number of cited sources, who explicity connect cited "poems" with Person Pope John Paul II as Prophecies about Him: internet 4, books 10, papers 2. Do this will melt down scepticism of yours or there is nothing which can crush him? Because you are per se prussian soldier ?Jakub Szymański (talk) 14:52, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

I'm... a Prussian soldier? Per se? Just... what? I assume that's meant to be some kind of insult. Kolbasz (talk) 13:46, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

Welcome Dear Kolbasz I deleted Your deletion notice and I claim second survey by You right now. Article is not perfect yet, but probably answered to Your indication. I appreciate all critical opinions, because by that is possible to make progress. Probably I should start working in sand-boxie, but for now is as is. Later I plan work over looks of footnotes, and little change in text. If it is neccessary I can also put some more footnotes. But from other side, I don't want overload article. After linking I found also some gaps, and I can prove some things by writting other articles, but this will be possible after two weeks from now (I have also other occupations) and then I can also simultaneusly work on better version of recent article. I will try to working according Wiki terms... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakub Szymański (talkcontribs) 08:57, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

While I appreciate your hard work and good intentions trying to improve Wikipedia, I'm afraid that the article still isn't suitable for inclusion. You cite various poems, speeches and so on, and then postulate that they are prophecies about John Paul II. This is original research, which is expressly prohibited on Wikipedia. Specifically, it's original synthesis (combining material to "reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources") - the sources never explicitly mention him; the conclusion that they're prophecies about John Paul II is drawn by yourself. You need reliable, published sources explicitly stating that these poems, speeches etc, are prophecies about John Paul II and furthermore that this concept is notable enough for inclusion in an encyclopedia. As it is, I'm afraid I'm going to have to nominate the article for deletion. Kolbasz (talk) 14:25, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

Jakub Szymański

Good day Easy Kolbasz I still improve Article, but step by step, so don't be so prompty with deleting (check periodicaly). I'm learn wiki terms by the way, and need some more time. Best regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakub Szymański (talkcontribs) 21:30, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Deletion of the page Magnetic core drilling machines

Hello Kolbasz the website www.magneticdrillingmachine.com is owned by me. The article on the website is also written by me. What should I do now? Should I remove the material from the website? or How can I donate the article to Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rohan von Indien (talk • contribs) 20:48, 19 January 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Portabletechnology (talkcontribs)

While you don't seem to be using them for anything malicious, you need to be aware of the rules so that you don't accidentally break them. Kolbasz (talk) 01:20, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

Refat Chubarov

Hello [[User:Kolbasz|Kolbasz], I haven't edited wikipedia in many years and don't remember how to do much. I saw you just edited the article I created on Refat Chubarov and how it had no references. I was wondering if you could help me; I wanted to link the page I just created on Refat Chubarov in English to the other pages that are in Polish, Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian. When I try to link it here https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q2038582#sitelinks-wikipedia it says the page isn't found when I search for it/try to save it. I don't know what to do. I want to at least link that so people know he's not made up or something before I have some time to work more on the article. Thank you. Nonbonumest (talk) 02:49, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Message

If you are absolutely convinced my recent created article "The best thing God gave us" is neologism, then go ahead and delete it. I'm not going to resist you in that, I've had too many edit disputes, and my says won't have any influence anyway. However, being the creator of the article, I can assure I created the article in good faith and I have, personally, heard the phrase thousands of times, also when visiting foreign countries. But like I said, you can do whatever you categorize as good faith edits or deletions. I know I have my heart in my right place and is making a difference on Wikipedia. Jonas Vinther (talk) 12:36, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

Unfortunately, basing an article on what you've heard on your travels would be original research, which is a no-no on Wikipedia. Googling ""The best thing God gave us" fingers" returns just 9 results: one of them your page and the rest irrelevant, so it can't be a common expression. Kolbasz (talk) 13:27, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Selenium user test pages

Hello,

I apologize for the test pages created by the Selenium_user login. They are artifacts of enthusiastic automated test creation by the WMF MobileFrontend developers, where the production environment was mistakenly added as a target for an automated browser test.

As the automated test suite has grown, the value of running it against a production target has become small. As of today, no more automated tests from the MobileFrontend suite point to the production environment: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/141463

Again, my apologies for the disruption.

Cmcmahon(WMF) (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 19:42, 23 June 2014 (UTC)

The article has a secondary source, an article from a newsletter distributed by an American college. It also has an IMDB, ComicBookDB, and they have a MusicBrainz ID, etc. Though thank you for being proactive about this. DunDunDunt (talk) 12:41, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

I removed the tag, though it is noted thank you, I will add more references as more information is added. Currently there are much less references due to nothing in the article on their publications being mentioned. I will be adding those though so links references to IMDB and whatnot will be more fleshed out. DunDunDunt (talk) 12:49, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Oh dear, someone else edited the article. And now it's mostly references. Poor little stub got too well sourced lol. DunDunDunt (talk) 13:10, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Unfortunately, notability still hasn't been established - you need reliable, independent secondary sources that show that this company is notable enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and none of the currently cited sources qualify. At present, the sources are
  1. The company's own "about" page.
  2. A podcast. Dead link, presumably self-published.
  3. A college department's newsletter.
  4. ComicBookDB. User-generated/self-published.
  5. MusicBrainz. User-generated/self-published.
  6. Web Fiction Guide. User-generated/self-published.
  7. Web Fiction Guide. User-generated/self-published.
  8. IMDb. User-generated/self-published.
So it is still likely to be deleted due to a lack of established notability. Kolbasz (talk) 13:31, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Web fiction guide is not user-generated, it is curated via editor reviews and through means of peer listings. MusicBrainz is used a method of authority control for biographical articles, and only used in this context the source the Life Never Lost bit. The podcast was published via another independent source, I'm looking for a cache of it, it was an interview from PAX East. A singular primary and the two secondary sources should be good though. Though IMDb is not a good source, and neither is ComicBookDB; But, I did not add those. The person that did was trying to help though. Thank you for helping as well, I wanna make sure this article sticks. DunDunDunt (talk) 13:41, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Having a moderation system in place does not mean it's no longer user-generated. And to quote Web Fiction's own "info & submissions" page:

Web Fiction Guide is a community-run listing of online fiction. We list anything that is original and story-oriented (we don’t list fanfic or erotica), and that is available to read for free online.

Especially note "community-run" and "we list anything". In other words, user-generated, and with no selection to boot. And remember: this isn't about proving the existence of the company or its products, its about proving its notability. The kind of sources you need would be e.g. articles about them in The Arizona Republic, not a college department's newsletter or an interview in a podcast. Kolbasz (talk) 14:02, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
Well... that other person beat me to the punch again added a The Albuquerque Tribune article, I got too the library and found the article they mentioned. The date was wrong, but I've correct that. DunDunDunt (talk) 14:51, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

Thank you!

Your help meant a lot. An editor has placed a deletion request on my two first articles, Heaven Sent Gaming and Comic Book DB. Since they are both stubs, there are more than enough primary and secondary sources for a stub article. Any "Keep" votes would greatly help!

Again, thank you so much for your previous help. Your aid is appreciated and would be appreciated again. :D DunDunDunt (talk) 06:49, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

About George Bary's Page

Dear Kolbasz, I would ask you about discussion of the [[1]].

Why do you want to delete painter George Bary's Biographic [[2]] site? He is very important artist with really new vision in the contemporary art. If you are interested we can give you more information but not for site (by painter's request).

Could you please, help us to keep this page and remove your request for deletion page.

Thank you.

We have deleted Inward Expressionism page for this time and will recreate it later with more influential information about this really interesting movement.

Una User:Lotus Flower in the Modern Art. — Preceding undated comment added 16:00, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

I nominated him - and "inward expressionism" - for deletion because there's no evidence that they fulfill Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Wikipedia is not a phone book or the yellow pages - it's an encyclopedia. It doesn't indiscriminately list everyone and everything, it's not a site for advertising and promotion - it's a place for neutral, reliable information on notable subjects. For a subject to be notable, it needs to have received significant coverage in multiple, independent, reliable sources. In the case of Bary and "inward expressionism", there's no evidence that they have been written about by anyone who isn't Bary himself.
Oh, and if you're editing Wikipedia on behalf of Mr Bary, I urge you to read Wikipedia's rules and guidelines on conflicts of interest. Cheers. Kolbasz (talk) 17:11, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
Dear Kolbasz,
I have satisfied your requirement and have erased inward Expressionism page.
I am not George Bary, I am art critic, also doctor-surgeon, professor [[3]], [[4]].
George Bary's biography page [[5]] exists during this period of time without any problems with Wikipedia.
Could you please, remove your request about deleting of this page because it creates an inconvenience for me as for the editor...
I hope for fruitful cooperation with you in the future on the pages of Wikipedia.
Thank you in advance.
Una

The place to make your case is the deletion discussion (see Wikipedia:Guide to deletion for an overview of the process). But please read and understand the links above first. I did not nominate the articles out of spite - notability is a hard, non-negotiable requirement for all articles on Wikipedia. You need to show that George Bary has received coverage (in reviews, books, articles about him or his art, etc) by multiple, independent (so the artist's own page doesn't count, for example), reliable sources. Kolbasz (talk) 21:43, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

Recent CSD

I removed your nonsense CSD tag from Red whiting because the page is not incomprehensible gibberish and can be understood; I've tagged the page with a standard deletion tag (after my PROD was removed) because I don't think any of the CSD criteria fit. 331dot (talk) 10:32, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

I'm not going to edit war over a CSD tag but I really don't feel it appropriate. If the page can be understood, the nonsense tag does not apply. 331dot (talk) 10:33, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

It is inded patent nonsense - incoherent text (in this case, random bits of other articles pasted together in no particular order) with no meaningful content or history. Kolbasz (talk) 10:34, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

Copyvio

I have removed the copyvio tag from High entropy alloys. The material present appears to be an original text based on the available sources. Due to the technical nature of the material, a certain amount of phrase matching is to be expected (there are only so many ways to concisely express some technical points), but the overall structure of the text does not appear to be copied wholesale from any of the sources you cited. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:47, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

The "overall structure" may not be, but every single individual sentence I googled turned out to have been copied and pasted directly. Technical language or not, that's a clear copyvio. Kolbasz (talk) 14:52, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
I've cleaned it up a bit. Feel free to re-nominate if you feel it is still problematic. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:08, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Articles on Wikipedia must be non-promotional and about notable subjects. In addition, given your username and that you refer to "our organization", it's clear that you have a conflict of interest here - which means that any editing by you relating to said organization is strongly discouraged. If your organization is genuinely notable, someone will create an article about it sooner or later. In the meantime, you can put in a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles.

You added a zero content article in the main namespace, so I tagged it for speedy deletion under criterion A3. The main namespace is not for drafts - everything that goes there may be summarily deleted under the speedy deletion criteria. To avoid your page being tagged for deletion, create a userspace draft and work on it there before moving it to mainspace. Kolbasz (talk) 08:23, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

Concerning: Proposed AfD

Hello. I just wanted to introduce myself.

I understand that you are considering deleting the article .codes. Is there a legitimate reason for such an extreme decision? I also noticed that the reason given (Non-notable gTLD) was not listed on the Wikipedia's deletion criterion. Did you need more time to propose a new deletion policy? Please contact concerning. Habatchii (talk) 00:19, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

The reason is right there in the quoted part: "non-notable". Also, WP:OR/WP:SYN. And of course you can't just copy a sentence from the AfD entry and expect it to be listed somewhere as a deletion criterion, as an AfD entry will usually contain a short summary of the article in question along with argumentation. Kolbasz (talk) 09:41, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for you response. But the questions still have not been addressed. Apparently you are now 'arguing' against your previous decision. The AfD criterion for deletion was not met and all statements can be researched by notable external sources such as corporations, IT professionals and university faculty. From an administrative perspective, your reasons are not clearly defined. Could you please suggest to an administrator that a template identifying your explanation be created on your behalf to use in such a case. Habatchii (talk) 18:03, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

It was not a finding of him that he subjected children with autism to unnecessary invasive medical procedures. Reworded the sentence to make it state the correct meaning.

The invasive procedures were indeed part of Deer's findings, so all the changed text accomplished was to imply that Deer was the one subjecting children to unnecessary procedures. Kolbasz (talk) 00:08, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
Dear Kolbasz, I apologize a thousand times. I had mixed up the Deer and Wakefield names. So sorry, my mistake competely! Thank you for explaining so clearly to me. I will be more careful in the future. And thank you for correcting my edit. --Jhertel (talk) 00:13, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

List of modern SAMs

G'day from Oz; I had already redirected the list once before, in response the list's creator added a dictionary definition of "modern" to justify undoing the redirect. Let's see if it sticks this time. CheersYSSYguy (talk) 10:49, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

I figured it was something like that (the "modern" reference was... oddly specific). Good work in any case. :)
