The Popular Kids are a group of fictional characters who frequently appear on The Fairly OddParents, first appearing in the episode A Wish Too Far!. Almost never seen apart, this quartet of kids frequently abuse and insult Timmy Turner and his friends.

Template:Spoiler Trixie Tang is typically depicted as a vain braggart who likes to flaunt her outer beauty and riches. Simply put, she was often portrayed as mean and inconsiderate, but is not in the same type of meanness as Vicky the Babysitter. She is twelve years old and really short, but not as small as Timmy.

Timmy Turner is smitten by her and is frequently attempting to obtain her attention and affection, to no avail usually rejects his advances except when the plot requires for it, which is usually if Timmy has something she desires. She is not completely shallow, however, and she does admire Timmy when he performs acts of honesty, loyalty, etc. (However, it's usually because she feels rotten after rejecting him in the first place.)

According to the episode The Boy Who Would Be Queen, Trixie is secretly a tomboy who is willing to be friends with any boy who's willing to admit he likes romantic soap operas - (just so long as he doesn't admit it in front of her female friends). However, this bit of character insight is never mentioned again in the series (though it hasn't been contradicted either).

She also said that she would date anyone that was funny.

Trixie's character is developed further in the episode Just the Two of Us where Timmy wishes that he and Trixie were the only humans and/or intelligent life-forms besides his Fairy Godparents on Earth. In this particular episode, Trixie is shown to have a pathological need for attention (in the form of compliments) and is portrayed as psychotic, and she actually tries to murder Timmy. Due to this, Timmy's wish (as usual) ended badly and warranted to be unwished. Also in the episode Just Desserts, Trixie was shown with much more expensive and fatter desserts than the rest and was seen popping off a tight belt as she ate.

In the half-hour episode, The Big Superhero Wish, Trixie was transformed into Wonder Gal (her appearance based off of Wonder Woman), and she wound up helping Cleft the Boy Chin Wonder (Timmy), Matter-Muncher Lad (Chester), Professor A.J. (A.J.), the Bouncing Boil (Elmer), the Sonic Youth (Sanjay), and the Crimson Chin battle the evils of the Bull-E (Francis), the Baby Shredder (Vicky), Dr. Crocktopus (Denzel Q. Crocker), and the Nega-Chin.

Apparently, she will date any boy who doesn't seem to care about anything, as stated in "Emotion Commotion". She was Timmy's girlfriend for a few seconds after Timmy had wished for no emotions. However, having no emotions, Timmy didn't care. Trixie broke up with him and started dating Chester McBadbat to make him jealous.

Timmy may have eventually won Trixie Tang's affections as he has two children who look like her in the episode "Channel Chasers", which is set in the future. The episode implied they may have eventually married. Although the children also look similar to Tootie, Vicky's little sister who is infatuated with Timmy.

Trixie's voice is provided by Dionne Quan (who also voices Kimi Finster in Rugrats and All Grown Up!) and is the only character in the group to have appeared in the comics.

Veronica is Trixie's best friend, whom Trixie states is "not as popular as me." Veronica, who dresses like a cheerleader and speaks with a Valley girl accent, is usually present in any episode Trixie is, and at first glance she gets a kick out of spoiling unpopular kids' images. But the episode Information Stupor Highway tells more about her. Her room is overcrowded with products in the likeness of Trixie, whom Veronica secretly hates but wants to be an exact clone of, mainly because Veronica has a crush on Timmy, and since Timmy likes Trixie, Veronica tries to be exactly like Trixie so that Timmy will be attracted to her.

Veronica in earlier seasons, Pre "Information Stupor Highway" was often blowing raspberries at Timmy, but it was implied with some expressions when she was around Timmy, that she secretly loved him. She often will go soft on Timmy when the other popular kids aren't around, but she does "try" to insult him when they are around, but it always backfires on her.

Like Trixie's secret tomboyishness, Veronica's desire to steal Trixie's life was forgotten afterwards, but in the later episode "Mind Over Magic", when Trixie thinks "Why is this loser [Timmy] talking to me?", Veronica thinks, "Why isn't that loser talking to me?" Veronica is the least popular of the popular kids, and is subject to embarrassment most often. Not even Trixie respects her! In some ways, she could be thought of as the Popular Kids version of Timmy.

In The Big Superhero Wish, Veronica was featured as the unsuccessful heroine Hawk Gal, loosely based on the DC Comics character Hawkgirl. Her abilities prove to be useless, and when all the superheroes lose their abilities and costumes, Veronica does not lose her costume, as, according to Chester, "she wasn't all that much of a hero anyway". Trixie also pointed out even as a super heroine she was still less popular than herself.

Veronica is voiced by Grey DeLisle, who also voices Timmy's other wannabe-girlfriend, Tootie, along with Vicky the Babysitter.

Tad and Chad, the two boys in the group. Tad and Chad almost never call "unpopular" kids by their real names, and are often calling them by adjectives that describe them, as in the episode "Most Wanted Wish" they call Timmy "Buck-tooth and Pink Hat". They are usually the winners of the class presidential elections, but the students always vote without realizing that the two will just use their power to bully them around. Tad and Chad are voiced by Tara Strong and Grey DeLisle, respectively.
