Asian Australians in politics

Asian Australians in politics
– This page were redirected without discussion. The reason given was that it was a duplicate article List of Asian Australian politicians
Asian Australians in politics is substantially different from List of Asian Australian politicians one is meant to be an actual article discussing the political involvement of the Asian Australian diaspora whereas the other is just a list of politicians. Please stop redirecting this page. It may contain similar information on it but It is not a dedicated List. For example 117th United States Congress has a list of the US House of representative on the page and there is a dedicated list List of current members of the United States House of Representatives as well they may contain some of the same information but one is a more broad overview while the other is just a list.
A similar article would be Asian Americans in politics and as for a list List of Asian American politicians or List of Asian Pacific American Democrats. This is not a duplicate article. Thank you SCN 1999 (talk) 05:57, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As the creator of the List of Asian Australian politicians article, fair enough. I tried to include some context on the history of participation of Asian Australians in politics in that article, but I can see the use in a more general article like this.
However, my issue is with your use of images in this article! Wikipedia has very strict policies on where you can upload images from - please refer to Commons:Licensing. I notice several of the images you have uploaded and included in this article seem to be taken from Parliament House, political party websites, or copyrighted ABC TV shows. Please use caution when searching for photos - I have found Flickr, YouTube Creative Commons, and the websites of certain government departments (such as DFAT, the NSW Education Department, or the Qld Police Service) are good sources of correctly licenced images of Australian politicians. Underrepresentation

There should be information on the underrepresentation of Asian Australians in politics

Underrepresentation is not opinionated language as shown by countless Wikipedia articles: See Bamboo ceiling (section Underrepresentation of Asian Americans), Underrepresented group, Women in climate change (section Underrepresentation of women in science) and Brussels So White (section Underrepresentation of people of colour among EU decision makers) as well as Women in philosophy (section Reasons for underrepresentation).SCN 1999 (talk) 11:23, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
