This redirect is written in Australian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, realise, program, labour (but Labor Party)) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.
As the creator of the List of Asian Australian politicians article, fair enough. I tried to include some context on the history of participation of Asian Australians in politics in that article, but I can see the use in a more general article like this. However, my issue is with your use of images in this article! Wikipedia has very strict policies on where you can upload images from - please refer to Commons:Licensing. I notice several of the images you have uploaded and included in this article seem to be taken from Parliament House, political party websites, or copyrighted ABC TV shows. Please use caution when searching for photos - I have found Flickr, YouTube Creative Commons, and the websites of certain government departments (such as DFAT, the NSW Education Department, or the Qld Police Service) are good sources of correctly licenced images of Australian politicians.
